Westwood
Originally settled by the Dutch, Westwood is known as the “Hub of Pascack Valley,” and home to great shopping and vintage homes. A picturesque town with the look of the ‘good old days,’ the vintage homes blend in with such features of the town as a neo-classic train station and a quaint Victorian gazebo located on the town green. Not just an old fashioned town though, Westwood boasts some of the best shopping in one of Pascack Valley’s largest shopping district. Specialty shops and boutiques offer an enticing alternative to the malls in the area with their unique inventory, and friendly staff happy to assist you.Westwood offers residents a wide variety of social and athletic venues in the town’s parks and tennis courts, as well as melodic concerts and cultural events that are held on the town green. The Pascack Valley Art Association sponsors one their main events, the annual Art in the Park exhibit, featuring fine art work that can be purchased. Throughout the year, there are events held outdoors and indoors that attract residents and visitors to this picturesque little town.
